I came across these hard-boiled American and English detective novels. These were Spanish translations published by TOR, an Argentine publishing company. Their covers are just great. So pulpy and dramatic. They make me want to start painting again. What I especially love about them are that they are action shots, almost like film noir movie posters from the 1940s.
